The One Up V Tail is a soft lure developed by Ultimate Fishing and manufactured in Japan by Sawamura. Created from an in-house specification sheet and validated in the field by four experienced anglers, it was designed to meet the demands of technical fishing both in freshwater and at sea.
Its particularity lies in its highly imitative shape, which provides a subtle and natural action, even at very low speeds. This behaviour, very close to that of real prey, makes it deadly on pressured or inactive fish.
The One Up V Tail was designed to excel in two specific situations: targeting very large zander from the shore, and sharpshooting from a boat, where it allows precise control of the lure in the water column. It can also prove effective on other species and has particularly impressed us when searching for big bass.
Available in several carefully selected colours, it rigs perfectly on a standard jig head, a screw head, or a large Texas-style hook.
