The Fat Cramp Shad has a slightly wider and more flattened body than its brother the Cramp Shad. In addition, the Fat has a different salt content, which creates a completely different weight distribution. This allows the Cramp Shad Fat to be used with a Weightless Offset (hook size 4/0) as a Gide Bait and to be fished in a Deadwalk or Glide mode. This is an action that most fish in your fishing water have never seen from a softbait!
If you mount the bait "upside down", i.e. with the belly upwards, the Cramp gives a wide S-shaped action during steady retrieval, which is reminiscent of a classic glider. Due to the top-heavy weight distribution of the rubber compound, the bait reacts extremely sensitively to movement with the reel or rod tip and can therefore be animated individually.
